Anna Silk
Anna Silk is a Canadian actor who was born on January 31, 1974. Her most well-known role is for her role as Bo in the Showcase television show Lost Girl. Silk was born in Fredericton New Brunswick, Canada. Ilkay and Peter Silk both were scholars. Ilkay was also a writer, director and producer. She is Director of Drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Some of Anna's earliest memories are of attending the play school as well as watching her mother do the perform. Silk created a variety of commercials when she was still a kid. In 1997, she earned an associate's degree from St. Thomas University. Theatre St. Thomas produced two of its first productions: Seven Menus, and The Kitchen. Silk moved out of Toronto to Los Angeles within the years following 1999. Seth Cooperman became her husband in 2007 when they met at an actor'sworkshop held located in Los Angeles. In 2009, the couple were married in a civil ceremony in December of 2009. When she converted to Judaism and they renew their vows in an Jewish ceremony on the 10th of April 2011 in Fredericton. Silk was blessed with a son that was named Samuel Jerome Cooperman on May 13th 2013. Her second son Levi Aaron was born on the 13th of May in 2016. Silk's television work is centered around the character Cassidy Holland in Being Erica for which she received the Gemini Awards nomination in 2009. In 2009, she got the main character role of Bo Dennis a succubus in the Canadian television series Lost Girl. Silk announced to the fans the good announcement that she became pregnant during the filming of the final episode of season 3. The show was a pre-show exclusive for Season Three. This was shown by Showcase in a special Season Three show held January 6th, 2013 prior to the series' premiere. Silk posted on Twitter on the 20th of June, 2013 that production was underway for Season 4. On 4 June 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures confirmed the start of Production for Season 4 of the show. CNN Cable News Network named Bo together with Lauren Zoie Palmer as the same-sex couple on Lost Girl to be one of the top television Couples of all time. E! Magazine declared the couple as one of the Top TV Couples of 2013. Entertainment Television. Because of the popularity of the show, Silk has garnered a prominent online following on social media.
